Cops caught the star when he tried to climb over a fence and meet his friend and cricketer Yuvraj Singh at Mohali
Cricket is something that can drive any Indian to do crazy things. Suniel Shetty after the India Pakistan semi final match at Mohali, tried to climb over a fence and meet his friend and cricketer Yuvraj Singh. And the cops caught him.
A spectator said, “We all were overjoyed with India’s victory.We were whistling and dancing away to glory. To my right, I saw Suniel Shetty climbing up the fence and shouting out to Yuvraj. The actor was stopped by a cop.
An inspector, on recognising Suniel, told his colleague to let the actor off. Shetty was however, asked to get down due to the huge, uncontrollable crowd.”
When contacted, Suniel laughed and said, “Yes, I went mad. It was such a mind blowing match. The kid in me came out and out of excitement I climbed the fence to meet Yuvi who was passing by. The cop stopped me, since there was a huge crowd below.”
He added, “Later on I met Yuvraj and he asked me what I was doing? I thought he was talking about the match and then he laughed out saying how he saw me climbing the fence and shouting with excitement.”
